Nixon and London had their checkups today

Nixon has always been extremely skinny and has never been on the charts for his weight he still isn’t! The doctors have run a bunch of tests and nothing is wrong with him ( he’s not a good eater) they think he is just a skinny kid! He seems small because he is so thin bit he’s always been normal height! Not anymore! He’s in the 75th percentile for his height now! My kid is tall! Ha ha I don’t know why that makes me so happy but it does! He has reach all the development milestones and then some so he is doing really well! He is obsessed with going outside in his words “ah siheee”. He loves walks and when ever we go to Scott’s parents house he makes his grandma or grandpa take him on walks in the stroller! They are such suckers! He walks them to the door and then back to the stroller and won’t give up until they take him! He loves going places and he will just take off! He’ll suddenly say bye and wave then walk away no big deal! He says hi and bye to everyone that walks past and wants everyone’s attention. He says a ton of words. One of my favorite things he does is when he plays with cars and say “vroom vroom” It really amazes me! Everyday he says new words and figures out how to do something naughty! 18 months is a crazy age!

London is four months today! She is such and easygoing baby! She just sits babbles and smiles! She is such a good eater! She is 11lb 1 oz so she is finally on the charts! She was at the dr on Tuesday and actually gained 9 oz in just 2 days. She has been sick with croup so we got a machine so we can give her breathing treatments at home. It seems like she has been sick so much! She still doesn’t sleep through the night… The doctor said that she should be doing it this month! I never had any problems with Nixon he just slept all night as soon as we let him. So it’s much different this time. Lo has rolled over a few times but I need to give her more tummy time! It’s hard with Nixon around he is all over her kissing her and rubbing her head, patting her back, stepping on her, slapping her pulling her hair, laying on her and the best one is pushing her face into the ground! He is so sly! He’ll be so sweet to her and then suddenly try to hurt her. I’m sitting right there while he rubs her head he’ll point and call her “doe doe” and giver her a kiss (which is still open mouth) and the look at me and try to step on her face. Sorry but it drives me crazy! He loves her and loves to test his limits! She is gunna be a tough girl! She really is a good, happy baby!
Now I am just trying to get them scheduled so Nixon won’t be so grumpy in the afternoon and London will start sleeping through the night! They are both great kids we are so lucky! I feel so blessed! There’s nothing like the love you feel for you kids! It can’t be topped!
